Christmas Day

Jesus Christ who is believed to be the Son of God, he was born in the town of Bethlehem on December 25th, 2000 years age. Christmas is a holy and serious holiday, but it is a fun holiday too. There is a feeling of friendship and giving. People give gifts not only to their friends and relatives, but also to poor and sick people. On Christmas Day people go visiting to give and receive gifts. Families have a big delicious dinner together. Christmas is a time for music. All through December the air is full of Christmas music. There are special songs called Christmas carols. Which are about the birth of Jesus Christ, and other Christmas songs, Santa Claus, Christmas bells and snow. Those songs are played and sung everywhere on the radio, TV, in stores, in churches, and in every home. Children love Christmas and wait eagerly for it. Most children believe in Santa Claus. He has a fat jolly man with beard. He dressed in a red suit. On Christmas Eve, at his home at North Pole, Santa Climbs into his sleigh which is pulled through the sky by eight reindeer. All through the night he flies from house to house around the world carrying a big bag with a gift for every child. Children hang up long stockings because tey believe that Santa Claus will come and put gifts in the stockings. Really there is no Santa Claus, and the stocings are filled by father and mother after they are asleep. Another wonderful customs is decorating the house with the different colors especially green and red which are the traditional colors of Christmas. Every green wreaths, lovely candles, holy bells, and other bright things are put around in the house. In the living room there is a hung Christmas tree decorated with colored bells, silver paper, and underneath is white cotton that looks like snow. All the presents are put under the tree with cards that say ‘Do not open unit Christmas.’
This Christmas Day is arriving again. I come back to house for made party. We spent time together. We change the gifts together and discuss any stories. We don’t go out the house because it is save money. I think that last year, my parent and I went to Phitsanulok province. We were greet Phaphutta Chinnarach that an image of the Buddha.
However, I happy with small a party.
